We start our trip to Bilbao, the trip was most comfortable , first passed by Santander a city that is about two hundred miles from Gijón , visited the palace of La Magdalena and around the park where the palace is located , is quiet city like Gijon, with fewer people but they have similar characteristics , Santander is colder and the sea is a little more violent , with lovely views, although it is noteworthy that since I'm in Spain I have not seen beautiful sunsets sun. After about two hours we finally arrived at Bilbao, from the entrance of the city and most noticeable is the huge Welcome Guggenheim , imposed with La Salve bridge combined with red bows Daniel Buren, when we reached the city seemed very cosmopolitan and artistic.
Since I saw the movie Vicky , Christina , Barcelona I wanted to be there, the atmosphere that Woody Allen gives is beautiful, finally in Catalonia, is a city that has everything I like, beach (the city is bathed in Mediterranean Sea ) is a large area of art ( cradle of modernism , cubism ) and is a very large city , about six million people, there was nothing to dislike in Barcelona , except some people that want become independent community, they prefer to speak English instead Spanish , although it is more than obvious that they speak Spanish but they considere themselves as people from Catalonia , not Spain , but that's another good point . No doubt the city is surrounded by modernism at its best , the protagonist of this is Antonio Gaudí , his work is marked throughout Barcelona , starting from the Casa Pedrera, until La Sagrada Familia, that is a sacrificial temple is estimated to be finished in 2026 , and is an architectural work with the full weight of its meaning, the windows , the meaning of each pillar , each dome, the design and respectable magnitude, make it to be considered as the most important legacy of Gaudí.
I start talking to people and some things that happen to me daily, at first it is very ironic that in Spain I don’t speak Spanish , everyone that I meet are from other countries such as Germany , India, Tunisia, France , Italy, Belgium , Scotland, Turkey, Finland and Austria, and the common language is English, I think the Spanish is a very difficult language because all initially intended to speak but then beats them despair and start speaking in English. The people with whom I live is very friendly and fun, people more spend time are with the Germans and the French, perhaps because they are the most persons to live here in Gijón , to start living with Alex that is German and as well , we create a group called " Real Chupa Chups " hope and imagine from where the name came. Each and every one of the fifteen that are total are like my family here in Spain , we are at all times, we talked about everything and what I like is that it seems that there are no prejudices or labels and everything is very open , one in Latin America think people in Europe is very openmind , but that’s a lie, is the same here in Mexico and in every country , it is a matter of perception everything, and fortunately in a lifetime I've been blessed to live with such people, below see photos, if I can not describe them all because I take a life , in short can say they are the best people I've met during my stay here .
