It’s been two months since I’m back home in Mexico, perhaps I’ve spent all my life here, I can say that my experience outside the contry have helped me to see how wonderful it’s the country where I belong talking about the food, the people and landscapes, one of my goals for this year is to travel further inland and well a good start is triping into smalls towns, so here we go.
Tepoztlán
Tepoztlan is a magical village located in Morelos, where the main attraction is the Cerro del Tepozteco , where you have to to climb to arrive into his pyramid , the ride is approximately twenty minutes (depending on the physical condition of each person) and is a rise and rocky way, please use confortable shoes and clothes, also don’t forget a bottle of wáter cause once reaching there on the top you'll need it , please don’t forget the sunscreen, then on the top of the hill the view from there is spectacular and despite is a heavy climbing it really worth all the happiness, the best time to go is in the morning , local people says that that once you reach the pyramid, you renew your energy and you leave behind all the negative vibes you bring along.
The descent is much easier and better after all that effort stroll through the village try the local food , don’t miss the Tlacoyos , nor the Ice cream of Tepoztlan famous in all the entire country for its craftsmanship and because is elaborated of natural fruit. Additional points of interest is the Convento and the temple of San Francisco , visit their craft shops, where you will find pre-Hispanic art, contemporary art, clothing , footwear and many pieces for home decoration.
Teotihuacán
For the spring solstice I visited Teotihuacan, since I arrived to Mexico I was so excited to climb the pyramid of the sun for renewal energy , thousands of people flock every year on 21st March to mark the beginning of spring and to pay tribute to the prehispanic ancestors , it’s mention that Teotihuacan is the most visited archaeological site in the country making it a must on your visit to Mexico, there are different activities to do to visit the place, from ballooning, bike tour and helicopter tours, the place is divided into different sections among the most notable are:
· Templo a Quetzalcoatl
· Palacio de Quezalpapalotl
This was undoubtedly the best experience I’ve had since I came to the country, the tremendous entire architecture that Mexicas used and it’s a pleasure to walk into the halls that our prehispanic ancestors used to walk.
Puebla
While this city has hosted me for four years, I am still surprised for places that I still don’t know yet, like the Amparo Museum and it’s terrace , the center of the city is charming , cobblestone streets , shops with crafts, sky city and enlightenment that the city offers, if you want to taste local art , visit the Artist neighborhood , to buy souvenirs the Parian market, for a good coffee Zaranda and a good view the terrace of the Hotel Puebla de Antaño or the Amparo Museum, in a next post I will offer one more detail about the city, this is only a short introduction.
Mexico City
Like Puebla I will only present a brief introduction of the city, due to the grandeur and it’s innumerable things to do, in the photos you can see only a small part of how beautiful the city is . Coyoacán district famous for their former estates for vacation, food and of course because this was the place where the greatest artists of the country use to live, yes I’m talking about Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, personally Frida is my favorite artist of all time .
Thank you very much for reading and an apology for not post a previous publication , special thanks to Javier, Fer, Edú , Ricardo and Gabo without them all these little trips would have a different meaning see you in the next publication.
Warmth.

· Templo a Quetzalcoatl
Calidez.
